The Bay Area’s high-value innovation economy requires increased availability of qualified workers across our region’s broad socioeconomic spectrum. The skills gap between evolving job requirements and local talent is a growing economic concern. OurFutureWorkforce.org and Viridis learning are partnering to bridge the gap between the Bay Area's dynamic local talent and innovative employers.

Bay Area Council

OurFutureWorkforce.org is the online hub for students, job seekers, educators, and employers to connect. Students and job-seekers have access to resources that help map out high-demand career pathways. Educators and community-based organizations can receive employer feedback on skills to better align their curriculum to employers' needs. And employers have the opportunity to share the skills they're looking for and connect with students, job-seekers, and educators in one place.

Viridis Learning

Viridis Learning's Skills Passport translates students academics into skills employers are looking for and connects students to employers. The goal is to identify how we can get better at directing learners to pathways which have currency in today’s market, to use technology to more effectively connect them directly to opportunity, and measure the economic impact of that educational investment.
